Ja, Baldur's Gate 3 ist Game of the Year - alle Game Awards konnte Larian jedoch nicht abräumen

Auf den Game Awards wurden natürlich wieder allerlei Preise verteilt. Wer das Game of the Year gewinnen würde, war nicht schwer zu erraten. Wäre es nicht Baldur's Gate 3 geworden, hätte ich aus völligem Unverständnis sicher versucht, die Zeitlinie zu wechseln. Doch auch, wenn das Spiel sehr erfolgreich bei den Game Awards war, alle Nominierungen konnte Larian Studios dann doch nicht in Awards verwandeln.

Also, wie ist es gelaufen? Sechs Awards gehen an Baldur's Gate 3, darunter auch der begehrte GOTY-Award. Dabei wurde das Rollenspiel von Larian Studios ganze neun Mal nominiert. Jeden Award konnte sich das beliebte Spiel also auch nicht holen. Dafür griff Alan Wake 2 großzügig zu und nahm immerhin drei der Awards mit nach Hause. Dabei schnappte das Horror-Spiel BG3 die Awards Best Game Direction und Best Narrative unter der Nase weg.

Was haltet ihr von den Gewinnern? Gibt es Überraschungen oder hättet ihr euch an einigen Stellen einen anderen Gewinner gewünscht. Ich bin etwas traurig, dass Remnant 2 leider nicht in der Kategorie des besten Action-Spiels gewinnen konnte.
