Battlegrounds: Das steckt im PUBG-Monats-Update für Juli
Ab morgen endlich Hupen!
Das jüngst auf Anfang August verschobene Monats-Update Juli für Playerunknown's Battlegrounds - Spielerstand laut Steamspy gerade bei 6,23 Millionen, vorgestern waren es noch 200.000 weniger - enthält so einige Goodies, die Battle-Royale-Intensivtäter freuen dürften. Der Release ist weiterhin für den morgigen 3. August geplant, auch wenn die Testserver-Version "aus Stabilitätsgründen" um einen Tag nach hinten verschoben werden musste.
Den gestern veröffentlichten Patchnotes zufolge gibt es nicht nur eine neue Waffe, das Scharfschützengewehr Kaliber 7,62 namens Mk14 EBR (natürlich nur in Care-Paketen zu finden), sondern auch endlich eine Hupe für die zahlreichen Fahrzeuge.
Dazu kommen buchstäblich Dutzende interessante Veränderungen und Fixes.
So darf man jetzt zwischen First-Person und Third-Person-Servern wählen und einige Verbesserungen an der Egosicht, sowie ein FOV-Slider sollen schon jetzt dafür sorgen, dass Spieler, denen der Sinn nach einer Hardcore-Sim ohne Möglichkeit, um Ecken herum und über Zäune hinweg zu schauen, mit den Fingern knacken.
Viel drehte sich in diesem Patch auch um Komfort: So soll die Kamera soll nun "besser" in ihre Ursprungsposition zurückkehren, nachdem man sich mit der Alt-Taste umgeschaut hat, verdächtige Spieler lassen sich nun melden und man soll Spielen, zu denen man die Verbindung verlor, wieder beitreten können (OMG!). Dazu kommen neue Möglichkeiten für Keybindings - Alternativbelegungen sind neuerdings möglich, was Arma-Fans freuen dürfte, ebenso werden für verschiedene Funktionen nun Toggles sowie Direkttasten für bestimmte Wurfgegenstände angeboten. Und auch der Xbox-Controller wird nun unterstützt. Viel Glück damit!
Aufseiten der Bugs dürften nicht wenige darüber frohlocken, dass die Gelegenheiten, in denen die Kamera so nah an den Avatar heranrückte, dass diese durch Wände und Bäume sehen konnten, eliminiert wurden. Weiterhin hören bestimmte vollautomatische Waffen nicht mehr sporadisch auf zu feuern. Character view is set to 3rd Person mode in starting airplane and during free fall from the airplane. This will be set to 1st Person only in a future update
Camera will stay still while looting items to prevent dizziness
Added a new feature to report players
Some people killed knocked-out teammates in order to avoid giving kill count to an opponent who knocked them down. Now the kill count will still go to the opponent in this specific case.
Added new animation when using different consumables
Improved camera transition when disabling Free look feature (Alt Key)
Decreased the reload time of VSS
Players may now re-enter games if they have been disconnected mid-game
You may now play with Xbox controllers, and we will continue to make improvements with Xbox controllers
Sound volume difference from inside and outside of building is more obvious

Added slight delay when using the drag-and-drop feature on items in inventory UI. We implemented this delay to provide a fair gameplay environment to all players
